Marriage License Requirements - Barbados

Barbados Marriage License Laws:
- Application for a marriage licence must be made by both parties in person at the office of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Post Office Building, Cheapside, Bridgetown.
- No waiting period
- Consult with the manager or wedding coordinator at the resort you are staying at to help you make arrangements to secure your marriage license
Barbados Marriage License Fee:
$75 US cash and $12.50 US Barbados postage stamps for the wedding plus $10 US for the marriage certificate.
Identification Required for a Barbados Marriage License:
- Proof of divorce or death certificate of spouse
- Copies of applicable marriage certificates
- Parents consent for parties under age 18 - 16 is the minimun age to marry in Barbados
- Letter from Marriage Officer
- Valid passports
